The Moultonborough Academy Varsity Baseball and Softball Teams will be participating in the Operation Hat Trick Initiative on Tuesday, May 13 in home games vs Sunapee at 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, May 16 in home games vs Woodsville at 4:30 p.m.  Operation Hat Trick was founded at UNH to deliver hats to wounded service members in VA hospitals.  OHT's mission is to generate funds through the hats to help in the recovery, education, and future employment of wounded service members and veterans, especially here in NH as it was founded at UNH and is dedicated to the memory of Nate Hardy (son of a UNH professor and his wife) and Nate's teammate, Mike Koch, both of whom were Navy SEALS killed in Iraq on February 4, 2008.

On May 13 and May 16, the Moultonborough Teams will wear the OHT hats (camo hats with the MA Logo) that the school purchased and have a pregame ceremony including a cermonial first pitch on both the baseball and softball diamonds by some of our local veterans.

Many thanks to Miracle Farms, Ossipee Mountain Electronics, Nancy Goss Associates, the MCS Staff, the Perrotti Family, and the Dalzell Family for their donations toward the hats and the OHT effort. For more information on Operation Hat Trick visit www.operationhattrick.com
