Mentor Program Letters:

From Michele DuBois, Moultonborough School District Mentor Program Coordinator

In the spirit of Choose Love, I thought I'd share this. In efforts to keep mentors and mentees connected during distance learning, I provided each of them with mailing supplies and asked them to keep in touch by writing letters. I had no idea what to expect, but the response has been heartwarming! All mail comes to me first, and then I forward it. This is what comes through my mailbox on pretty much a daily basis...unbelievable! What a wonderful group of kind students we have at MCS and MA!

Tori has made a bunch of kindness rocks and is hiding them all over the place, inside and outside.

Art is Love was created as a partnership of several NH sponsors with the goal to connect NH schools with local assisted living facilities to show them hope and encouragement during the Covid-19 pandemic. At MCS, Art Teacher Terry Dempsey and MCS Guidance Counselor Sara Fogarty developed this idea as a perfect Choose Love lesson. Students and staff were asked to create artwork or take photos of themselves sharing hope and encouragement with our neighbors at Mountain View Manor in Ossipee. The slideshow was then created and shared here and also sent to Mountain View Manor for all there to enjoy. Thank you to all who participated!
